THE EFK LIBRARY

In a world addicted to blurbs, brain fog, and six-second videos…

Welcome to a library.

A real one.

With books.

With ideas.

With soul.

Sit the fuck down, grasshopper.

It’s time to read.

But don’t worry —

You don’t have to be quiet here.

This library isn’t silent.

The books are loud on purpose —to wake something up in you.

Additional quotes to place somewhere on this page at your discretion:

“Not all voices are found in silence. Some need a mic drop and a little chaos.”

“Sometimes, you’ve gotta get yelled at by a book to finally hear yourself.”

“Welcome to the only library where getting loud is part of the healing”

WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE?

The Full-Bodied Pour Who the hell is Karen? Here’s the long-ass story: I’m Karen. Brooklyn born. Italian immigrant raised. Currently Spain living. Rewired warrior turned writer. Semi-retired healer. Fully retired fireball. A lifelong truth-spiller with a thing for espresso, real connection, and making hard things a little funnier. Once upon a time, I worked with CEOs, athletes, and everyday humans who were either trying to live better — or trying not to die. Literally. (Sometimes metaphorically.) I helped them know themselves so we could shift their energy, reclaim their bodies, and come back to life. Not in a cute hashtag way — in a “holy shit, I feel different” way. Any wonder I’m semi-retired? My origin story started early. I was a “surprise baby” to my 41-year-old mom, who found out she had cancer not long after she found out about me. She used to say I healed her. That kind of origin story wires your sense of purpose fast. (Don’t worry — I unpacked that heavy shit.) But even before the unpack, I was already moving energy. By the time I could talk, I was “helping” in one way or another. By my twenties, I was getting paid for it. Weird. Real. Wildly effective. The path wasn’t straight. It was a spiral: • I studied literature. • Taught fitness. • Held space for grief. • Snuck out to nightclubs. • Dropped out of my PhD. • Got fired (fast). • Built a successful wellness business. • Burned out. Got back up. • Took care of my dying parents. • Made good choices. Made terrible ones. • Set things on fire. • Set myself on fire. • Learned how to put it out. • And finally — finally — got rewired. Through it all, I was listening. To energy. To the body. To the stories we carry. To the ones I told myself. Listening for what heals — and what quietly kills. Somewhere in all that unpacking and fire-starting and listening… there was magic. So much magic. I’ve taught thousands. Helped others. Helped myself. Sat with people at the edge of transformation. Held others as they crossed over. And what I know now is this: The magic isn’t in being perfect, spiritual, or optimized. It’s in being honest. It’s in knowing yourself. It’s in being yourself. It’s in putting the damn fires out — and learning how to move your own energy. That’s what these books are for. To help you remember what I had to learn the long way. To share what healed me. What helped my clients. What might just help you too. I used to move energy one person at a time. Now I write so the work can move through many. Because healing in private is powerful — but writing it down makes it shareable. Scalable. Contagious. And the most contagious thing in the world? Nope, it’s not COVID. It’s an idea. So consider this library one big-ass sneeze of remembering — meant to wake up something powerful inside you. Bless you.

The Espresso Shot Hi. I’m Karen. Rewired warrior turned writer. Semi-retired healer. Fully retired fireball. Once upon a time, I helped people not die. Metaphorically and sometimes literally. CEOs, athletes, everyday humans — I moved energy, healed bodies, and helped people come back to life. I was born to do this work. (No, really — my mom found out she had cancer not long after she found out about me. She says I healed her. No pressure, right?) I’ve taught thousands, held space for grief, danced through fire, and rewired my life from the inside out. These days, I write. So the work can spread. Because the most contagious thing in the world? Nope, it’s not fire. It’s an idea. So let’s spread this shit like a sneeze in a crowded NYC subway.

They Belong to Us: Becoming Through Your Pet This isn’t a book about pets. It’s a book about becoming. Through true stories of my soul animals — Luca, Joe, Kissy, and others — you’ll discover how animals don’t just love us. They evolve us. They grieve with us. Hold us. Teach us how to soften, love deeper, and return to ourselves. This isn’t a pet memoir. It’s a remembering — of who you were before you got a little lost in the world. And of who you’re still becoming — through the animal who chose you.

Hail Mary House A True Story of Dying, Cleaning Shit, and Making Magic My mom asked me to write her story. This may not be what she imagined — but it’s the one she’s getting. Rage and grace. Diapers and dignity. Lentil soup and miracle work. A daughter’s story. My story. Proof that real life is always stranger than fiction.

The House That Love Didn’t Build A Children’s Book for Grown-Ups For the ones who were never really tucked in. Whimsical. Heart-centered. Quietly revolutionary. A bedtime story for the kid inside your nervous system.
